   Randy is a respected and talented leader and a skilled economic developer. As IDM's Director since 1990, Randy has successfully guided IDM to assist hundreds of individual communities and groups across the state in the creation and implementation of community and economic development projects. Randy also serves Iowa as Executive Director of UNI's Business and Community Services Division, which consists of eight exciting, externally focused programs, including IDM. Randy currently serves on the board of Iowa's Community Vitality Center. Before Randy joined IDM in 1987, he was Executive Director of a private development corporation and served in local government. Randy is a sought-after consultant, facilitator, speaker, problem-solver, and volunteer leader.
